Cadet College Kohat is one of the Elite Institutions of Pakistan which Provides quality education to all segments of society on merit and competition.


 There are seven Boarding Houses spreading around the Academic Block in a semicircular shape. Houses are named after the great personalities of national and regional importance i-e; Jinnah House, Khushal House, Iqbal House, Ayub House, Munawar House, Rustam House and Junior House. Each House can accommodate upto 90 cadets and consists of ten small and two large dormitories. The dormitories are spacius. Each Cadet is provided with a cup-board, a study chair, a table and a book shelf. Apart from dormitories, there are 6 single rooms for the appointment holders. The appointment holders are selected from amongst the senior Cadets on the basis of their previous record and qualities of leadership. One of the members of faculty is appointed as an Officer Incharge of the House, known as House Master.



    Introduction:            Jinnah House has been named after the founder of Pakistan, Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah. Jinnah House was the only boarding house in the inception when the College started working and accepted the first entry of 58 cadets. Mirza Khursheed Anwar Beg, the 3rd Principal of the College, was its founder House Master who took its charge in April 1965. Mr. Nasir Khan, is the present House Master.

 Inauguration:           May, 1965.

 Motto:                        “Unity, Faith, Discipline” the famous catchwords uttered by our national hero, and aim at the consummation of the motive behind the establishment of Pakistan.

Colour:                      The House colour of Jinnah House is navy blue.



 Introduction:            Khushal House is named after the great Pushto Poet, Khushal Khan Khattak. Mr. Abdul Raziq Swati was its founder        

                                  House Master. Mr. Zia ur Rehman is the present House Master.

 Inauguration:           May, 1966

Motto:                        “Die for Honour” as reflected in the poetry of Khushal Khan Khattak that the Pashtun race prefers honour to death.

 Colour:                      The House colour of Khushal House is dark green.



 Introduction: Iqbal House has been named after the national poet of Pakistan, Allama Muhammed Iqbal who was the first to give the idea of Paksitan. Mr. M.H. Hamdani was its founder House Master.

 Foundation: Iqbal House was established in November 1966.

 Motto:            The motto of Iqbal House is “Faith, Action and Fraternity”. The Motto aims at the dire need of giving practical shape to the dream of Allama Iqbal, for a separate nation.

Colour:          The House colour of Iqbal House is light blue.
