Cadets' Houses
A Second Home
Where Legacy Meets Leadership
At Cadet College Kohat, the House system lies at the heart of cadet life — fostering discipline, leadership, camaraderie, and healthy competition. The College features seven vibrant Boarding Houses, including a Junior House dedicated exclusively to 8th Class cadets. Each House is named after a towering figure in Pakistan’s history, proudly carrying a unique color, motto, and now, a beautifully crafted House emblem that symbolizes its values.
Identity and Emblems
The iconic House flags were once simple colored banners. But under the current Principal’s visionary leadership, each House was given a personalized insignia — designed in the heraldic tradition. These badges feature:
- A black escutcheon with gold lining
- A central Torch, symbolizing enlightenment and knowledge
- A distinct House emblem in the House’s designated color
"From Darkness unto Light"
(A verse from the Holy Quran)
The Seven Houses of CCK
The Boarding Houses form a semicircle around the Academic Block, creating a sense of unity and structure. Each House is home to up to 90 cadets, complete with:
- Spacious dormitories (10 small, 2 large per House)
- Personal study setup (cupboard, chair, table, bookshelf)
- 6 single rooms for senior appointments (student leaders)
- A Housemaster (faculty member) overseeing discipline and welfare
